Spring Picnic
All students are invited to the Computer Science Department spring picnic on May 11, 2022 at 5:30PM at Professor Kapfhammer’s house.
The picnic will be at Professor Kapfhammer’s home, which is less than two miles from campus
Depending on your preference, you can either walk or drive
Transportation will be provided for students who need a ride
You are welcome to bring Frisbees, soccer balls, or balls and gloves as there is a large common area with lots of grass
You might want to bring your running shoes because there is a short trail and we can use it for a departmental race
We will provide a range of delicious foods so that you can enjoy a full dinner off-campus in a relaxed environment
If you have any food allergies, please note them on the RSVP form so that we can carefully plan ahead
We will plan to have the picnic outside so that everyone can be safe regardless of the COVID-19 situation on campus
Unless you hear otherwise, plan on attending even if it rains! If it rains, we should have room for everyone in the garage
We recently moved into this house last November! You will see that, while we built a new deck for the picnic, our landscaping is not yet finished. Sorry!
Bosco has agreed to be available for the entire picnic! It would be greatly appreciated if a student can teach him to fetch before the picnic ends!
