Daniel H. Wagner Associates (http://www.wagner.com/) is seeking a full-time software engineer with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or computer engineering. The open position, which we hope to fill later this spring, is at our Hampton, VA office and requires U.S. citizenship. We are looking for a candidate with strong mathematical skills and an exceptional academic record to work on complex, challenging problems. Applicants must be industrious, highly self-motivated, and able to learn new technologies quickly. Qualifications sought:

BS/MS in computer science or computer engineering (including proficiency in advanced mathematics courses)
Exceptional academic record
Ability to work in small teams or be self-directing and work independently, depending on project needs
Solid written/oral communications skills
Understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Programming
Strong problem solving, testing, and debugging skills
Linux/UNIX/Windows/C++/Java experience
U.S. citizenship
