Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor, with the possibility of renewal, beginning September 2014. Applicants with interdisciplinary interests that combine computerscience with art, biology, economics, or environmental science are particularly encouraged to apply; candidates with interests in graphics, mobile computing, security, or other areas of computer science are also invited. The minimum qualification is a M.Sc in computer science with demonstrated teaching experience, with preference given for a Ph.D. in computer science or a closely related field. Applicants must provide evidence of the ability to effectively teach and advise undergraduates. Teaching load is 6 courses per year, with a laboratory course in computer science counting as 1.5 courses.
