ACM Is Back!

The Allegheny College Student Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is back and has already held several successful events this fall. The first regular Thursday evening meeting was held on September 6; attendees enjoyed pizza, filled out interest forms, and discussed possible future events.

The annual Fall Picnic was held on Friday, 14 September at Alden Hall. It was a great success--we were treated to a "singing bowl" concert (courtesy of Dr. Kapfhammer and several student performers), a number of travel stories, homemade "mud balls," and lots of other great food.

This year's officers are Corey Carlson (president), Gregory Sadler (vice-president), Nathaniel Blake (secretary), and Tyler Kuehn (treasurer).
