Gitting Comfortable with Distributed Version Control

Abstract

Distributed version control is a relatively new paradigm in the field of version control software. The most prominent of the distributed version control systems is Git, designed and written by Linus Torvalds for use within the Linux kernel project. This presentation provides a high-level overview of Git's history, features, and workflow in an effort to illustrate the concept of distributed version control systems.
