A Software Engineering Job in the Real World

In this presentation, Jennifer Haddox-Schatz, class of 2000, will share her experiences working at Daniel H. Wagner Associates, Inc. The talk will begin with an overview of the company's work, how it receives funding, and the types of tasks Ms. Haddox-Schatz performs as a Senior Analyst. A high level description of the project on which Ms. Haddox-Schatz currently works will be provided next, which will include some background information on web services. The last section of the talk will cover several interesting "bugs" Ms. Haddox-Schatz has encountered in her work over the last few months.
